Book Review #1
"If one man can be credited with resuscitating American commercial animation from a near-death experience in the 90's, the credit would have to go to Fred Seibert." -AWNI finally got my copy of his long awaited "Original Cartoons" book and it was worth the wait...or shall I say the weight! Over 200 pages of heavy stock paper all with beautiful full color images made by a group of 34 animation writers and designers. These guys have helped create and develop countless hit shows from the past 8 years. There is so much in this book, postcards, title cards, production art, all from Fred's days at MTV Networks to Hanna Barbera to Frederator, and everything in between. If there ever was a true definition of a coffee table book...this is it!

A Scanner Darkly
I can't wait for this movie! Due to be released in early July, the unusual look of the film is achieved with a technique known as interpolated rotoscoping, in which a program called Rotoshop determines vector keyframes of timed images, and then interpolates frames automatically to achieve smooth animation.

Chase
Once upon a time, a few of us began to make an animated short just for fun. Two years later, it has now travelled the world to numerous film festivals. Now we're trying to pitch it to any producer who will give us a few bucks to make more of these chapters, cause it was alot of fun to develop. Here's the wonderful lo-rez web version for all to see.
