Ron vs. Steve

Here it is... the most mind-blowing event of 2005! It was a record-breaking capacity crowd that came to witness the the War To Settle The Score, an unprecedented match that rocked the Collideascope Arm Wrestling Championship to its foundation. Ron "The Body" Doucet squared off against Steve "The Bastard" Comeau... it was the never-before-seen spectacle of Director versus Producer. No one could have predicted the outcome between the Acadian Apocalypse and the Lawrencetown Lasher. It was the most intense war that Halifax had seen in professional arm wrestling! Re-live the power and exhiliration of the night of December 6th, 2005!

Capture the gold medal... in Hoth

Star Wars fan Shane Igoe has decided he's got the perfect place for the 2014 winter games: Hoth. Yeah, the Hoth that was featured in "The Empire Strikes Back." Never mind the fact that it doesn't really exist, it's chilly climate and hilly landscape make not only the ideal location for a rebel hideout but also, according to Igoe, the perfect spot for the winter games. Igoe has launched a website where you can sign an online petition to get the games hosted on Hoth, design an athlete, try to avoid a George Lucas lawsuit and some other nifty stuff.
