Blast From The Past
For my 400th post, Flooby Nooby is proud to present a little blast from the not-too-distant past. Here are pics taken nearly 7 years ago, back when Collideascope was animating its very first pilot episode, at the time being the first (along with Quads) to start a series using all 100% Flash.
We were a wee studio then, 1 director, 1 board/BG artist, and 8 animators, all struggling through our first time doing traditional style Flash cartoons for broadcast television.
Here we have James Boyd, Curtis Carey, Ron Doucet, Brian Finlay, Adam Gunn, and Bogdan Luca. We were practicing Jedi mind tricks every day.

Here we have Ron choking Curtis (a daily event) and Leigh flirting with Luca, she didn't even work at the studio, but enjoyed visiting us for some reason.

And here we have a visit from an old friend, sci-fiction celebrity icon, Chewbacca.... He's much shorter in real life.

New Bionic Woman
In a moment indicative of NBC's commitment to bring America quality, original programming, it was announced today that The Bionic Woman will get an update in a new pilot for the network. In the original '70s series, tennis pro Jaime Sommers was granted amplified (bionic) hearing, a super-strong (bionic) right arm, and powerful (bionic) legs. Unfortunately, with the late '80s invention of Robocops, good hearing and some robot limbs just doesn't cut it anymore. Here are my notes to keep the series fresh and relevant for today's viewers:
- Instead of the old repetitive sound and slow-motion when using bionic parts, it plays SexyBack.
- While making the legs bionic, scientists were forced to infuse the brains of one of the Wayans brothers (doesn't matter which ones) in each leg. So when she uses them, they bicker and make little jokes about how skinny white girls' legs are.
- Runs Linux (appealing to nerds for some reason).
- Bionic lesbianism.

Happy New Year
We went to a fancy-shmancy party last night, saw the fireworks, had some fancy food, dressed up all fancy, it was fun, but I'm sooooo not used to dressing up formal.
