Rosetta Over Mars

Panels on ESA's Rosetta spacecraft appear in the foreground of this intriguing image of Mars recorded on February 25 at a range of about 1,000 kilometers. Launched in March 2004, Rosetta was near its closest approach to the Red Planet during this gravity-assist flyby maneuver.

I guess I've always figured that the whole "NOT! joke" phenomenon originated with the characters on SNL's Wayne's World; but if you haven't already, check out the Penguin's line in the panel above. I just noticed this in a reprint of Batman #25... which came out in 1944!
