Spectacular Light Art Brightens Up The Night
By using landscapes at night, they play tricks on your eyes while the natural beauty of the images shines through. The two artists love to travel creating this artwork because they know that there is more light in the dark than we think. extensively and enjoy being in the outdoors.
They live in Germany and travel around three times a year when they can afford it. What they want is for people to visit the places they have photographed so that they can have their own experience as well. As for the way they name their photos, each image is named for its location and numerical coordinates, as well as a geographical location. Instead of coming up with a name, they want people to interpret their work however they see it.

WASP Knife Will Freeze and Blow Up Your Organs

Add this to my “Things to hyperventilate over” list: British police are on the lookout for something called a WASP Knife, a weapon that injects a ball of compressed gas into its victim that then expands to the size of a basketball, instantly freezing and exploding their internal organs. The blade, which was designed to help hunters and divers bring down large wild animals quickly, could possibly be bought on the internet by serial killing-minded crooks. Look at what it does to a watermelon! The WASP website states “the effects of the compressed gas not only cause overinflation during ascent when used underwater, but also freezes all tissues and organs surrounding the point of injection on land or at sea.” It's like a freeze ray out of a superhero movie... Only it's real, and thus infinitely scarier. Somebody hold me. [UK Daily Mail via Technabob]
Dumpster diving with the freegans: Why pay for food?
Sleep is cheap for Dave Hamilton. That's because the Bristolian paid almost nothing for his king-sized wooden bed. Mr Hamilton salvaged the bed frame from a skip.
The mattress came from Freecycle.org, a free online exchange site. All he paid for were the screws to put it together. "The entire bed cost me less than £3," he boasts.
Dave and his identical twin brother Andy are a new breed of ethical consumer, often referred to as freegans. Everything that freegans "consume" - food, clothing, furniture - is scavenged, swapped or donated by like-minded people.
Anti-consumerist movements like freeganism are growing in the UK. Websites such as Freecycle.org, Swapstyle.com, and Selfsufficientish.com, which the Hamilton brothers run, have experienced a steady increase in traffic over recent months.
Existing freegans say that people are joining their ranks by the week. But these are not dippy hippies or trampy hobos. They are educated people who have decided to seek an alternative way of life outside the economic norms.
