Searching for an answer, a young boy waves goodbye to his classmates, hops the schoolyard fence and disappears into the city, swallowed by the din and decadence of its machines and masses and automobiles. Back at school, amidst a crowd of confused onlookers, the runaway's best friend, a young artist, smiles and waves goodbye with equal parts understanding and expectation.

"Colorimétrie en mouvement" by Nicolas Ménard

"Colorimetry in motion" shows translations between those amalgams of shapes. Éric-Renaud Houde designed an app capable of animating the shapes and modify some of their parameters. By recording the generated animations, it was possible to produce a choreography that accompanies the book. The film was designed to loop in a gallery space.
