Taser Parties For Women (Forget Tupperware)

Am I the only one that thinks this is crazy?

  1. wow. dana shafman looks like a man. also, the questions at the end pretend to be invasive yet are truly just pokes, and dana answered them without really answering them. terrible journalism.

Q "i felt paralyzed almost, an incredible pain - do the women that you're selling these tazers to know the kind of power that they're purchasing?"

A "that's a part of the reason why we do a party, is so they can actually experience the power and trust the power of the tazer to protect themselves in those situations that you just don't foresee."

the question came immediately after negative connotation yet was not directly asking about that negative effect. just the positive result. so dana's answer sounded informative. the q and a was not meant to stir debate but rather to promote. this is also endorsed by the tag at the bottom "Forget Tupperware! Taser Parties Becoming the New Craze"

    yikes!

so what's more crazy? that this is considered effective journalism? or that this is broadcast to an audience who is watching television in the morning rather than working. sounds like additional advertising. the product's demographic as depicted by the video are insecure women. who's watching this crap? insecure women. something's rotten in the state of denmark.
