Yes, yes and yes. As I was reading this, I kept saying "yes" in my head on every point. Very well written Ron and all absolutely true.
I tell my students this stuff every year and some of them just roll their eyes. Maybe if enough of us say the same stuff, they'll start to go, "Hey, maybe these guys are right."

Every animation school should give this out with a simple question at the bottom: After reading this do you still want to become an animator?
