Back in 2007 Sotheby’s New York auctioned off Atari’s artwork archive. The lot was expected to fetch USD$150,000 - $250,000. The auction included an extensive archive of original marketing materials from the “Golden Age” of Atari, ca. 1981 to 1983, comprising of more than 2,000 items of widely varying sizes and formats, including color separations, box designs, manuals and approximately 135 large files of graphic materials. Here is a gallery of just some of those amazing graphics.
