All this talk made me dig up an old newspaper clipping from 2005 that I had saved because of its accurate depiction of television animation funding in Canada. As twisted and bizarre as it sounds, it's all true, as my bosses and producers for many years had to endure much punishment and corruption as they jumped through hoops in attempts to get our cartoons financed.
